Singles Ministry

Here at FBC Coppell, single adults are crucial for us fulling our goals as a church. There is not one area that cannot benefit from singles being involved. It is our desire that every single adult who comes to FBC Coppell gets connected.

When God decided to establish HIs church and restore His relationship with us, He sent His son, Jesus Christ. Jesus was single. It was God's desire that His Son remain single while seeking and saving the lost and leading others to repent and believe.

I am sorry that sometime in the past churches began to overlook singles and their vitality in the church body. Many churches gear everything they do to meet the needs of married couples. Some even do not see singles as complete until they get married. This view is wrong.

You are made complete in Christ alone.

Here are a few ways to connect with other singles as well as the church-wide body:

Worship Service

- Don't sit alone! If you do not have someone to sit with come join other singles who sit in the service together. They sit about 3 rows from the front in the right center section worship center. Ask around for David or Krystal.
- In the sermon you will hear practical applications for singles as well as married couples, children, and youth.
- There are also many way to be involved in the service itself. Choir, Tech team, The Net, etc.... Just go to the appropriate ministry for more information.

Large Group

- We meet Sunday mornings for a co-ed large group teaching and fellowship time at 11:15am in Suite 200 of the First Place building across the parking. This will be right after service and include a time of fellowship, teaching, and discussion. Gary Cook, our Grow Pastor, leads this time. Life Groups

We have a few life groups that are specifically for single adults. In 2012, these groups are going to be more intentional doing activities and PEACE projects together.

College Age Life Group

If you are in college or college age, this group is for you. It is a co-ed group that meets Sundays at 3pm in the Student Center. You can contact Gary Cook at gcook@fbccoppell.org or to learn more about them and keep up with activities join their Facebook Group: CLICK HERE.

Single Mom's Life Group

This group meets on Sunday mornings at 11:15am in the upstairs adult education space just outside from the worship center. For more information contact Shawn at sbettes@fbccoppell.org.

Single Men's Life Group

This group meets on Thursday nights at 7pm and is open to single men of all ages. During group time we will have time of fellowship, service, sharing, and Bible Study. We will have the opportunity to further discuss issues brought up in the Sunday Morning Large Group study time as well. Single Women's Life Group
This group meets on Tuesday nights at 7pm and is open to single women of all ages. During group time we will have time of fellowship, service, sharing, and Bible Study. We will have the opportunity to further discuss issues brought up in the Sunday Morning Large Group study time as well. Volunteering

Age Graded Ministry
The Age graded ministries are always in need of not only volunteers, but those who are willing to invest in the lives of preschoolers, elementary aged kids, middle schoolers and high school students. Click here for more information.
