Love God with all your heart and love your neighbor as yourself. Explore the opportunities listed below that we have created to help you get connected to simple ways you can love the people in and around your community. You may also choose to create your own opportunity that is a perfect fit for you and your small group.

Opportunities for Small Groups
Afrika Community ChurchWe are partnering with the Afrika Community Church in Dallas! This amazing church serves refugees from over 6 countries in central Africa. Check the calendar for upcoming events or email Clay at cadkission@fbccoppell.org for more information.
June 5th – Cleaning Caddy Project 1- 4pm: We are asking small
groups to collecting cleaning items. We will take these down to the
people of Afrika Community Church. In addition to collecting, we are
asking groups to come put on a cleaning demonstration in a model
apartment. We will show people how to use the cleaning products
properly as well as entertaining their kids with some fun games.
June 12th – Cookout with Afrika Community Church 1 – 4pm:
We want to get to know our neighbors in Dallas at Afrika Community
Church. Come out eat some food, play some games, let the kids play in
the bounce house, and most importantly meet our friends at Afrika
Community Church.
Benevolence
The
Benevolence
ministry at First Baptist Coppell is more than giving
people a hand out. We want to give people a hand up. If you are not a
member of First Baptist, we do have food available for those in need.
As members, we want you to have the opportunity to receive not only
financial
assistance, but also spiritual guidance in how to steward the finances
God has given them.
In addition to this, individuals or
families seeking will be asked to meet with a benevolence team member
to walk through 6 weeks of guidance in the area of finances and
stewardship. We believe these 6 weeks will help change the way people
look at their finances moving into the future.
