FBC Coppell Student ministry is a group of  6th – 12th grade Students and their families who are reading God’s Word and trying to do what it says.   For more information about our student ministries, please contact Charley Hellmuth at chellmuth@fbccoppell.org.    

Some of the different ways we are reading God’s word and doing what it says….

Sundays:

Sunday Mornings - 11:15-12:15 - Every Sunday morning we gather together 6-12th grades as an entire student ministry. The time we spend together is very relational and loosely structured.  Toward the end of the hour we gather together for 10-15 minutes of learning and listening to one another and hearing from God and his word.  This time will consist of everything from, Sr’s sharing part of their life story, to covering specific passages of scripture, to setting up the scriptures that will be spoken about in the main church services that take place right after we meet.  After all…. Student Ministry is not Student Ministry….until Students are Ministering!!! 

Students Serving (S2)-  S2 is big part of our student ministry. We believe that students when they trust in Christ for salvation do not receive a “teenage” Holy Spirit and are capable of doing great things for God’s kingdom both now and later. S2 is one of the biggest ways we provide opportunity for students to serve in the greater life of the Church. Whether it is leading a children’s ministry class, ushering, or anything in between we want students involved in serving.   When we serve we grow in our faith and S2 helps students begin to develop a lifestyle of service. Summer at FBC

Summer Night Life

It has begun!!! The summer is here and we have tons of fun stuff planned for 6th -12th graders on Wednesday nights this summer. The schedule is posted on the church calendar on the website so be sure to check the dates. Summer Night Life is designed to be a time of connecting with each other and God over the summer. We will be doing all sorts of things from pool parties to movie nights to sports tournaments, to bowling etc. Our summer interns Scott and Allison are in charge of making these events Crazy Fun!!!!
