Honor

In Matthew 22:36-40 Jesus says, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart... soul... and mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love you neighbor as yourself. All the Law and Prophets hang on these two commandments." This is known as The Great Commandment.

Then in Matthew 28:19-20 Jesus said, "Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you." This is known as The Great Commission.

Both the Great Commandment and Great Commission are Jesus' instructions to the church. Out of these scriptures we draw our core beliefs and 5 elements to a healthy church: Honor, Serve, Share, Connect, and Grow.

First Baptist Church Coppell exists to celebrate God's presence. We honor God by expressing our love to Him.

We do this in many ways: singing, commitment, praying, hearing the word, giving, baptism, meditating, and Lord's Supper to mention a few.

Join us in Honoring God in corporate worship on Sundays or in small groups throughout the week.
